On-Grid Solar

It is also known as “Grid Tied Solar System or Integrated System”. In such type of solar plant the system is connected with the main electric power supply or Grid just like regular home. That’s why it is called On Grid or Grid connected system. In on-grid systems main power can be used when your solar panels are generating less electricity. You also can get electricity from main power supply grid at night time or cloudy seasons. Your solar system can make money for you by selling surplus generated electricity to power grid through net metering.

Requirement for On Grid System:

• Solar panels and an appropriate mounting system,
• Grid tied solar inverter(s) and monitor(s),
• Solar cables and MC4 connectors,
• AC and DC safety isolator switches, and
• Grounding earth cables and clamps.
